In an effort to make squash a more inclusive sport for everyone, Kidsquash began as a pilot program in 2004. Having officially incorporated in 2007 and begun playing friendly matches with Andover Youth Squash Association, Kidsquash aims to give young people, regardless of background, access to a health-bearing lifetime sport they can learn now and continue playing for years. Harvard Men’s and Women’s squash teams act as coaches and mentors teaching Kidsquash participants techniques and skills to start having fun playing squash immediately. Kidsquash is sending Tariq Mohammed, Head Coach for Boys’ and Girls’ squash at Concord Academy, to Change the Game to learn how Kidsquash can better expand squash opportunities for all.
