Walk ‘n Rollers was established to bridge the gap between cities that are improving their bicycle infrastructure and the user groups within those communities.
Wall ‘n Rollers educates, trains, and encourages young people to ride their bikes more often. By bridging the gap between programs like Safe Routes to School and Bicycle Master Plan, Walk ‘n Roller, goes a step further to encourage children to ride their bikes and make their parents feel safe allowing them to do so.
Jim Shanman founded Walk ‘n Rollers in the Spring of 2011 noticing a gap in these noble community efforts to reduce pollution encourage physical activity, and create more safe spaces in communities.
We’re extremely excited to have such a unique program joining us at Change the Game this year!
